ROSES
Belle Poitevine (Rosa rugosa)

Semi-double, 3" medium pink flowers, which continue until the arrival of frost. Dark green foliage turns to yellow and orange in the fall and is accented perfectly by large orange-red fruit. Makes an excellent hedge rose.
Blanc Double de Coubert (Rosa rugosa)

Very fragrant, 2 1/2"-3" double white blooms, which start in June and continue until frost. Dark shiny foliage changes to fall colors and is enhanced further by large scarlet fruits.
F. J. Grootendorst (Rosa rugosa)

Recurrent bloomer that has clusters of 1"-1 1/2" red flowers with serrated edges like a carnation. Very hardy, bushy, vigorous growing plant that should be pruned back to 18" each spring.
Hansa (Rosa rugosa)

Double, medium red flower that is 3" and fragrant. A very hardy and vigorous growing shrub which has large red fruit and an orange hue color in the fall. It is a recurrent bloomer and has good disease resistance.
Purple Pavement (Rosa rugosa 'Rotesmeer')

Semi-double, 2 1/2"-3", mauve flowers bloom continuously through the season and are replaced by dark red hips. Bright green foliage has excellent disease resistance and forms a nice mounded plant well suited for use in mass plantings or as a low hedge.
Sir Thomas Lipton (Rosa rugosa)

Double white flowers that are 2"-3" and fragrant, recur thoughout the summer and fall. Heavily thorned canes and dark leathery foliage cover this bushy, vigorous growing plant. It tolerates a wide variety of conditions and makes an excellent hedge.
Therese Bugnet (Rosa rugosa)

Fully double, 3"-4", medium pink flowers grow on nearly thornless, dark wine colored stems. They bloom on old wood from mid-June till frost and gray-green foliage turns to a deep red in fall.
